Can you make a Will online?
The online Will is subject to suitability, please check the following statements. If any of these apply to you (or your partner if making a mirror Will) then please click ‘book a call’ to arrange a telephone appointment with an adviser.* This will incur an additional fee as tailored clauses will need to be included in your Will.
- (Mirror Will only) You intend to make a Will independently of each other
- Your net assets total more than £325,000 (single) or more than £650,00 combined (couple). Generally speaking, net assets are your total assets minus your debts
- Own some assets outside of the UK
- Intend to leave the UK on a permanent basis
- Have some business or farming interests
- Intend to exclude someone who should benefit or who would expect to inherit from your estate
- Intend to make a specific gift of property (bricks and mortar property or land)
- Intend to leave your estate to more than one person in unequal shares
- Are visually impaired
- Have more than one child and do not want to appoint the same guardian(s) for all the children
- Own joint property and/or assets which I intend to leave to someone other than the joint owner
- Have some concerns about one of your beneficiaries squandering their inheritance
- One of your intended beneficiaries is vulnerable, disabled or currently (or potentially) in receipt of means tested benefits
- One of your beneficiaries is involved in a divorce or bankruptcy
